Tips of the Pro's
1. Locating the main water valve
Everyone in your home should know where the main shut off valve is located at in your home. Generally, this is located near the street curb or on the side of your house. You will need a special tool to turn the water off and you can find this tool at your local hardware store.

2. Testing for Leaks
Put a few drops of food coloring into the tank of your toilets, not the bowl. If after 15 minutes the color of the water in the bowl is the same color as the water in the tank you may have a leak.

3. How to possibly fix a jammed disposal
If your disposal is jammed or not working make sure to press the red reset button at the bottom of the disposal. Most often you will find that all you have to do is reset it.

4. How to keep from paying a high water bill
Make sure you check your faucets for drips and under lavatories for moisture collection.

5. Avoid Clogging the kitchen Sink Draining
Do not pour fats or cooking oils down your sink as this may cause a Stoppage in your plumbing drain line.

6. A Tankless Water Heater will use about 40% less energy than a standard tank type water heater, plus tankless water heaters have a typical life span of 20 years or more installed in residential applications, up to twice as long as a tank.
